Case Study

SAMPLE CASE STUDY:

A local book store in Hempstead sold variable books in different fields, and its special field was the seldom versions of some old books. As its business expanding, Mr. John (the president) wanted the book store to enter the online business. And what we need to do is to help Mr. John for all aspects of expanding including website design, website and local promotion.

In this case, a website design is the main part of our service. All the other parts are associated with promotion of website. And then our team needed to pick up a well-known and easy-memorial name of this store to attract potential customers. After communicating with our client, we chose the name “MyfavorBookStore.com”.

After the implementation for 2 month, “MyFavorBookStore.com” successfully expanded the sale market and attracted more customers. This case is a typical event we helped small business exploit its position in this industry.

As shown in the above flow chart, Tracy’s Tiger Techs provided related professional services for Mr. John step by step.

We designed a unique website for “MyfavorBookStore.com” because this book store only had an entity shop in Hempstead before. And they wanted us to exploit a much bigger market via internet. We realized the increasingly intense competition in the market, like Amazon, eBay, etc.  Finally, we decided to create a very attractive and eye-catching website for them to distinguish it from other competitors.

Through a profound investigation and abundant instances, we found its special field is the seldom versions of some old books. So we added a separate and prominent link for this item called “worthy of collection”. We classified the categories as Business, Philosophy, Science, cooking, Art, Fashion, Reference book on the top of the homepage. Also, we set up some smart tools for the clients, such as email alerts, favorite products according to the clients’ recent search history. To promote their books, we posted some advertising on other platforms like twitter, facebook, and yelp. We tracked how many people were coming to its website, what they were looking at, how they got there. This tracking technology is very important for them to target customers and products. What’s more, the search engine optimization is also our highlights. The goal is to get this website on the front page of search engine results for relevant searches and targeted keywords.

First, we helped the book store to add profile to its Yelp account, providing accurate information about the business.
